JOB: LEVEL 2 COMPUTER TECHNICIAN AND NETWORK INTEGRATOR - QUEBEC CITY

Under the supervision of the infrastructure department director, the technician performs the work requested for our diverse clientele and carries out projects of different sizes.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Installation and configuration of the server, equipment, and computer networks for customers
• Installation and configuration of infrastructure software and applications
• Repair and preventive maintenance of computer equipment
• Support and management of Microsoft 365 and Emails Exchange
• Frequent work and trips to customer offices

EXPECTED COMPETENCIES:

• Have a college diploma in computer skills development or the equivalent
• Two (2) years of relevant experience in the field
• Knowledge of Windows environments, including 2016, 2012, and 2008 servers
• Knowledge of email migrations, Microsoft Windows Server, AD, DHCP, and DNS
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including the installation, management, and handling of Office, Emails Exchange, OneDrive, and Teams
• Be autonomous and quickly adapt to unforeseen situations
• Possess an analytical mind and show initiative in finding practical solutions
• Have good interpersonal skills

 

ADDITIONAL ASSETS FOR THE POTENTIAL CANDIDATE:

• Technical knowledge of Sharepoint (major asset)
• Have notions and skilled for structured cabling
• Be skilled with light construction tooling for physical installations
• English language proficiency

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
